La nourriture & les émotions influent sur les couleurs des iris.

-

R ayleigh & Melanin

The eyes change colors by Rayleigh scattering and the amount of melanin. The rays are generally deflected by the gas molecules encountered. These deviations vary according to the wavelengths: they are the photons of short wavelengths (violet-blue) unlike the photons of long wavelengths (red-orange), more rare.

This is the Rayleigh diffusion phenomenon, named after the English physicist, receiving the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1904.

The composition of the iris is linked to the nervous and endocrine system *. The darker the color of the eye, the more melanin there is in the body. Melanin acts as an insulator for connections between brain cells.

* The endocrine system includes the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands, pituitary gland, cerebral epiphysis, ovaries, testes, pancreas as well as hormone-secreting cells located in the digestive tract, kidneys, placenta and the heart.

The more melanin we have, the faster the brain works.

The color green represents 2% of the inhabitants of the planet. This color was created due to the moderate content of melanin and yellow-brown pigments. Initially, everyone has brown eyes and then the mutation reduces melanin production. A newborn baby with brown eyes will keep them for life. The blue iris is a mutation in the gene that appeared 6,000 to 10,000 years ago. As for chameleon eyes, they react to stress, emotional experiences, fatigue, the environment and atmospheric changes.

Phenomenon of emotion

Strong emotions cause obvious shock to the body. Faced with intense joy or a feeling of anger, the heart rate changes, breathing quickens or slows down. A remarkable accentuation of the color of the iris occurs. It can become more saturated, sometimes darker and sometimes lighter. Happy people have bright irises.

Note : A pilot study reported by the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine indicates that women with light colored eyes tend to cope better with pain. Dr Inna Belfer specifies: “In a study of 48 pregnant women - 24 with dark eyes and 24 with light eyes - those with light eyes would be much less prone to anxiety and depression. postpartum. "

PERCEPTIONS

100 million colors in the viewfinder instead of 10 million!

Bichro, Trichro, Tetrachromate?

2% of individuals are tetrachromats, like birds: four color photo-receptors.

Have you ever said “it's an interesting green” and you were told “But it's gray! "?

Tetrachromatism is the processing of visual information via four channels and four types of photoreceptor cones in the retina . Indeed, the color space has four dimensions and the retina contains neurons .

Tetrachromatism is stimulated by high light intensity so these people all see an additional palette representing roughly 100 million colors in the viewfinder, instead of 10 million for trichromats.

Tetrachromate animals perceive wavelengths that trichromate humans do not.

IRIS & ORGANS

Extract:

“Iridologists consider that each sector of the iris corresponds to an organ. Dr. Robert Morse explains that the upper quadrant of the eye is associated with brain health, a yellowish tone reveals a large amount of toxins.

André Roux has three constitutions:

The “Fibrillary lymphatic” iris: light blue base color towards green or gray tones. It would testify to a constitutional ground generally in acidosis, fragile immune system with predisposition to the respiratory pathologies in short term (rhino-pharyngitis…); to medium-term allergies then to long-term arthritic and rheumatic pathologies.

The mixed iris or “Mixed biliary” constitution: it is a hazelnut iris, green-brown or brown-yellow in color, revealing deep iris layers in blue. This constitution would testify to a weakness of the liver and the biliary tract, a weak digestive potential and a disturbance of the metabolism of carbohydrates.

According to Dr Mathieu Leach of the University of South Australia, people with hazel eyes may be more prone to digestive problems.

A study in the journal Chronobiology International found that people with brown eyes typically sleep two hours less than people with light eyes, and their sleep cycles tend to be shorter.

Green eyes have a balanced melanin level. "

CHARACTERISTICS BY COLORS

“Scientists from Örebro University in Sweden did a study: people with the same iris color had certain personality traits in common. According to Dr Anthony Fallone of the University of Edinburgh “the eye is neurologically very closely related to the brain. It is in a way its only part visible from the outside. It seems to hold clues essential to the functioning of our brain ”.

If you have black or dark brown eyes:

You are certainly a born leader. that's how people see you. sometimes appear black, one of the rare eye colors: mysterious or secret.

If you have blue eyes:

Great inner strength and physical strength even though many people do not see it. In reality, people don't really know you and often judge you negatively. They may see you as weak, timid, or untrustworthy. People with blue eyes can often be seen as shy. The Daily Mail reports that in 2006 German psychologists discovered that children with blue eyes tend to be suspicious of new things and are considerably less open to their peers. The Daily Medical adds that many people perceive blue-eyed people to be “competitive” and even “selfish”. Despite these negative ratings, a pilot study reported by the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine indicates that women with light-colored eyes tend to endure pain better during childbirth than those with black or dark brown eyes. In addition, they would better manage the constraint of childbirth. Dr Inna Belfer specifies: “In a study of 48 pregnant women - 24 with dark eyes and 24 with light eyes - those with light eyes would be much less prone to anxiety and depression. postpartum. "This is only a pilot study involving a small number of women."

If you have gray eyes:

Gray eyes are rare, it is a variant of blue eyes. In other words, if you have dark gray eyes, your irises are a shade of blue. According to the Tech Museum of Innovation, dark gray eyes have more melanin on the surface of the cornea, while light eyes have much less. If you have dark gray eyes, you can be an exceptionally well-rounded person or have a two-sided personality. A Dr Jekyll and a Mr Hyde deep inside you? You may not be the same for different people, adapt to the needs and duties depending on who you have in front of you. If you have light gray eyes, you are probably working harder than most people. You make an effort to be taken seriously, and always stay on your guard. But while it is difficult to break your shell, you are still someone who cares deeply about the people around you.

If you have hazel eyes:

Eye Doctor Guide describes hazel eyes as eyes that change color from green to brown, or as two-colored irises. The part that is close to the pupil may be green in color, while the iris tends towards brown. This color is rare, and people with hazel eyes are considered unique and different. The shades of hazel eyes are unique to everyone. People with hazel eyes tend to be independent, confident and spontaneous. The amount of melanin in their eyes varies from person to person, so it is never possible to pinpoint their personality. However, these people have in common a balanced personality that can sometimes be difficult to decipher. According to Dr Mathieu Leach of the University of South Australia, people with hazel eyes may be more prone to digestive problems.

If you have brown eyes:

Like black or very dark eyes, brown eyes are a result of high melanin levels. People with brown eyes tend to be both pleasant and bossy, they inspire confidence. According to studies by Charles University in Prague, these people are generally very loyal, respectful and gentle, but certainly not submissive. A study in the journal Chronobiology International found that people with brown eyes typically sleep two hours less than people with light eyes, and their sleep cycles tend to be shorter. They generally have more difficulty getting up in the morning.

If you have green eyes:

A study published by Impulse Corporation in Los Angeles looked at the relationship between personality and eye color. The researchers concluded that the most common trait associated with the color green is attraction. Indeed, most of the participants who wanted to change the color of their eyes opted for green as their first choice. Green eyes have a balanced melanin level which makes them pleasant and much more attractive than blue or brown eyes. Also, ophthalmic surgeon Hamadi Kallel did some research regarding this topic and concluded that people with green eyes appear to be mysterious, are quietly self-reliant, unpredictable, and hard to anger. They are also original, creative and efficient when working under pressure. "
